We Care for One Another

We deeply want to help our communities, the environment, and the world at large through service work and charitable giving.

    Our Community of Givers

We are proud of all the good our clients do. Whether it is helping deliver meals, keeping our rivers clean, raising money to fight juvenile diabetes, combating world hunger, or volunteering at local places of worship, we salute so many of our clients who support our community and the world.

From Gratitude to a Giving Attitude

Since 2008, we have hosted an annual gratitude dinner party for our clients to celebrate how fortunate we are to work with such good people. Because of Covid, we could not hold our 2020, 2021, or 2022 party, so we made the following donations in honor of our clients:

    In Keene, New Hampshire

We sponsored 24 solar panels for the Keene Community Kitchen’s solar project. The project expects to generate a total of $700 of utility cost savings each month, which translates to more than $8,000 of extra food a year! We also helped fund the 2022 December holiday meal boxes.

    In Western Massachusetts

We funded 850 hot lunches at the Amherst Survival Center, which provides food, clothing, and healthcare to many in the Pioneer Valley.

In 2022, we focused our giving on the housing needs in our communities. We did this through supporting Habitat for Humanity of Monadnock, NH and their 7 house community in the Monadnock region and by supporting Habitat for Humanity of the Pioneer Valley, MA and their house building projects in Western Massachusetts. In honor of our clients around the country, we gave to the national branch of Habitat for Humanity.

In Other Regions: We donated to food pantries in communities where our clients live, including the California Association of Food Banks, Connecticut Food Bank, Oregon Food Bank, Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Feeding Florida, Food Bank for New York City, Vermont Foodbank, Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, Greater Boston Food Bank, Lower Cape Outreach Center, Good Shepherd Food Bank of Maine, Worcester County Food Bank and Feeding America.
